Charter finally coming to Richland Farms Subdivision !

After almost two years of trying it looks like Cable and High speed internet appears to be coming to Richland Farms. One of the residents called to order cable and they were told that construction of the system to service this area was finally approved.

We do not understand why it takes so long or why certain cable and phone systems are assigned certain areas of the county. Common sense would make you think if one company can not provide service in an area and another company that could provide service they would allow them to do business in that area. What is really disturbing is Grundy County has high speed internet, and cable every where in the county.  Why is this not the case in Coffee County with so many people working from home these days?

What do you guys think?  Should all companies have the opportunity to compete for internet and cable services any where in the county?
